Lithographed tin notebook for Chocolat Lombart 1908
Chocolaterie Lombart is a historic and prestigious French chocolate brand, among the oldest in the country.
Founded in 1760 in Paris (it claims to be the first French chocolate factory), it experienced significant growth in the late 19th century under Jules Lombart. It produced high-quality chocolates, confectionery, and even tea, and at its peak was one of the largest factories in Paris (on Avenue de Choisy).
Its famous slogan: "Lombart! It's the best."
The brand disappeared in 1957, having been absorbed by Menier.
