Superb little pocket mirror for Lombart chocolate; the mirror is unfortunately broken, but the seven years of bad luck are over!
circa 1910
Chocolaterie Lombart is an old and prestigious French chocolate brand, among the oldest in the country.
Founded in 1760 in Paris (it claims to be the first French chocolate factory), it experienced strong growth at the end of the 19th century under Jules Lombart. It produced superior quality chocolates, confectionery, and even tea, and at its peak, it was one of the largest factories in Paris (Avenue de Choisy).
Its famous slogan: "Lombart! It's the best".
The brand disappeared in 1957, absorbed by Menier.
